Log-in screen background - Guild Wars Forums

Ever since I've installed EotN, my log in screen background has changed to snowy mountains in the distance. Is there any way to get back the log in screen that I had when I had only Factions or Nightfall installed?

That is the official client, updated with the EoTN release, you can't change it back unfortunately.

Also.. I hope you really didn't waste your time using the CD's that came with the box... all you have to do is add the cd key to your online account, even if you don't have certain games.. you still have them in your client, just your account dosent have access to them on the servers.

I really wish they would let us choose which log-in screen we wanted to use, I loved the factions screen

Unfortunately there's no way to change it.

Texmod should be able to do that, I believe I saw a Mod for that. And for loading screens.

no, because it only changes textures. while you can change the textures to that of factions or nightfall, you'll never get rid of the torches+steam, and you'll never recreate the ocean/waterfall/whatever seen in older loading screens.

yea i would really like to see the old screens too...i only started playing once EOTN was released and everyone is always raving about the factions screen....

Texmod can't do much for the login screen. The trees will still be barren, you'll still be standing on a lone mountain, and there will still be all the torches and norn huts around. About all you could do is change the far background image, and the texture of the hill you're standing on. The old login screens are gone for good.
